  • Does TFG consider funding any social investment projects?
    No. We have strict criteria and focus areas according to which we evaluate requests for funding.
  • Where does the money for CSI come from?
    The TFG Foundation.
  • How does TFG decide which projects it is going to fund?
    Our budget is divided amongst our various focus areas. Applications for funding are firstly screened according to our general criteria and secondly according to our focus areas and then according to the budget we have available.
  • Does TFG monitor the projects it funds and have a say in how the money is spent?
    We do monitor the projects we fund. We conduct regular on-site visits and receive yearly progress reports. While we do not determine how the funds are to be spent, they are spent according to the needs of the project (with a few exceptions). We will get involved in decisions if we are requested to.
  • Are staff and managers involved in CSI at TFG?
    Staff are encouraged to get involved and connected to CSI through Pass It On.
  • How can I apply for funding from TFG?
    – Check your project against our general criteria
    – Send a proposal in line with one of the focus areas
    – Utilise the on-line standard application forms/format
    – Apply by the deadline
  • Can I direct an application for funding to one of the Brands/Trading Companies of TFG?
    No, It's best to direct your request directly to TFG CSI
  • Can I direct requests for gift vouchers, perfume/make-up samples or other types of merchandise, fashion show requests or "sponsorships" to TFG CSI?
    No. TFG CSI only deals with requests for funding around projects that meet with our criteria and focus areas for the benefit of our defined beneficiaries.
